Indigestion can take place during pregnancy as well. Usually this occurs due to a number of reasons. The first and the foremost reason can be attributed to hormonal changes. Pregnancy leads to a number of problems and the reason behind a large part of those problems are the hormonal changes. You can also face indigestion due to a growing amount of pressure from the baby on your stomach and due to the muscles around your gullet and stomach relaxing and coming back up.
Indigestion is a common occurrence if you had indigestion problems before you got pregnant. It is also common amongst women who have been pregnant before and occurs in women who are in the later stages of pregnancy. Which is why, taking meds for pregnancy digestion is very important.
